Pouch Cove, Newfoundland
August 1–31, 2021
In June 2021, just as plans for the next phase of Journal of the Plague Year(s) were underway, we lost our studio to development. A note from our landlord informed us: “It’s not personal. It’s a business decision.” And then a stroke of luck—we were invited to Pouch Cove, Newfoundland for an artist residency for the month of August. This was the beginning of our traveling road show. During this and two subsequent residencies, the project evolved, as did the nature of our collaboration.
